The Business & Administration Modern Apprenticeship provides candidates with the skills and knowledge they need to enhance their work-based skills and to forward their career in Business Administration. The programme provides candidates with the opportunity to develop key business skills which provide them with an overall awareness of both the organisation and business environment as well as giving them the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised vocational qualification.

The Business & Administration Advanced Modern Apprenticeship framework offers specific qualifications by offering flexibility and breadth, including industry specifics and key skills.

To achieve the full certificate in Business & Administration you must complete 6 units including the 2
mandatory core units. At least 3 units must be chosen from Group B. If you are undertaking this NVQ as part of the Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration, it is recommended that one of your optional units is an IT unit (unit 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 25, 26, 27 or 28).

KEY SKILLS

Key Skills were introduced into the NVQ framework as recent surveys showed that these were vital skills needed within the workforce. Each Key Skill is incorporated into both Level 2 & 3 and are in the following areas: -
